A good way of networking within the Pharmaceutical sector would be to attend the AstraZeneca seminars that take place at University of Toronto, Mississauga every Tuesday evenings, at 6:30 pm. These seminars are offered in association with MBiotech program at UTM.

Ms. Arzoo Zaheer possesses an Honors BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Toronto and a diploma in Clinical Research. Her undergraduate thesis work involved genetics research under the supervision of Dr. Ellen Larsen at Ramsay Wright Zoological Laboratories. The research was geared towards understanding the plasticity of a fruit fly's genome by introducing an extra non-head segment. After working in various capacities with VWR International (www.vwr.com), a medical device distributor, Ms. Zaheer moved into the Clinical Research field. She was recently employed with i3 Innovus, a CRO based in Burlington, Ontario. Ms. Zaheer joined Larial Analytical Inc (www.larial.com) as Business Development Officer in 2009 and she brings a fresh enthusiasm and insight into the deal-making process. She left after some months with the intent of pursuing further studies.
Ms. Zaheer is also available for professional networking at LinkedIn, an online network of more than 20 million experienced professionals from around 150 industries.
